Die Carbon Active EC Ventilator Silentbox ist die neuste Entwicklung in Sachen Abluft und Zuluftventilatoren. Die EC Ventilatoren sind nach der neuen ERP 2015 Norm entwickelt und sind sehr leistungsstark und dabei auch noch sehr sparsam. EC Ventilatoren lassen sich ohne störendes Brummgeräusch auf jede Drehzahl dimmen, dabei verbrauchen die Ventilatoren nur die Energie, die ihrer Drehzahl entspricht.

Die Carbon Active EC Ventilator Silentbox ist schallgedämmt und dadurch auch bei hohem Luftdurchsatz und hohem Druckaufbau sehr leise. Der Druckaufbau ist entgegen herkömmlichen  AC Rohr oder Schneckenhausventilatoren ca. 4 mal so hoch. (AC Ventilator 1000m³/h ca. 250 Pa - EC Ventilator 1000m³/h ca. 1200 Pa) durch den wesentlich höheren Druck (Pa) kann man jetzt mit ca 30-40% weniger Luftdurchsatz (m³/h) arbeiten als bisher.

Der Druckabfall bzw. Leistungsverlust von herkömmlichen AC Ventilatoren wird bei EC Ventilatoren durch den hohen Druckaufbau kompensiert. Ein entscheidender weiterer Pluspunkt der EC Ventilatoren ist der deutlich geringere Stromverbrauch im Vergleich zu seinen AC Ventilator Kollegen bei gleicher Luftfördermenge aber wesentlich höherem Druckaufbau.
