Installation Guide

1. Shut off the engine completely and close the raw water intake seacock.
2. Locate and access the raw water pump assembly.
3. Carefully remove the screws holding the pump's end cover plate.
4. Using needle-nose pliers or an impeller puller tool, grip the hub of the old impeller and pull it straight out of the housing.
5. Clean the interior of the impeller housing and the cover plate to remove any old gasket material or debris.
6. If your kit includes a new key, install it onto the pump shaft.
7. Liberally apply the provided impeller lubricant to the inside of the pump housing and all surfaces of the new impeller.
8. Insert the new impeller into the housing. Bend the blades in the natural direction of the pump's rotation as you push it in.
9. Place the new O-ring or gasket into the groove on the pump body or cover plate.
10. Reinstall the end cover plate and tighten the screws in a star pattern to ensure even pressure. Do not overtighten.
11. Important: Open the raw water seacock before starting the engine.
12. Start the engine and immediately check for any water leaks around the pump cover. Confirm that water is flowing from the exhaust outlet.
