The formulation contains high solids, resulting in a thicker, more durable film that bonds tightly to the surface, ensuring optimal protection. Additionally, it has extreme hydrophobic properties, making water, dirt, and contaminants easily repel off the surface, reducing the frequency of cleaning and maintenance. The coating’s flexibility and elasticity help prevent cracking or fracturing, even under harsh conditions.
The CLEAN. 3 Year Ceramic Coating cures quickly, with a 1-hour wait time before the surface can get wet, and a full chemical cure achieved in just 7 days. It is safe for all exterior surfaces, including paint, glass, wheels, plastic trim, lights, paint protection film (PPF), and vinyl wraps, even matte finishes. This versatility makes it a complete solution for your car’s exterior protection needs.
With no need for maintenance toppers, simply wash your vehicle regularly to maintain the coating’s performance. The product is free of PFAS or "forever chemicals," making it an environmentally friendly choice.
The product’s shelf life is 1 year if unopened and 6 months once opened. For optimal longevity, store the opened bottle in a freezer. The recommended application temperature range is between 50-86°F (10-30°C), with the ideal temperature being around 68°F (20°C).
Each 30ml bottle is sufficient to coat the paint of two average-sized cars. If you plan to coat additional surfaces such as glass, wheels, trim, and lights, you will need an additional bottle. While the amount applied can vary from person to person, these estimates will give you a good idea of the product’s coverage.
Why should you choose a ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating forms a strong, protective layer on the surface of your vehicle, creating a hydrophobic effect that causes water and contaminants to bead up and roll off. How to use the CLEAN. Ceramic Coating (3 Year)
Apply to clean, decontaminated surfaces using a cross-hatch method. Level with the first clean and dry microfiber towel after 1-2 minutes when you see rainbowing starting to appear on the surface, and then buff with a second clean and dry microfiber towel.
In some conditions, you might get an immediate rainbowing effect, but make sure you still wait a full 1-2 min before wiping.
The coating rainbows very quickly because it is quite reactive, but think of that more like a skin that is forming. On a coating that is lower solids it won’t be so pronounced, but because this coating is quite thick there’s still a lot more wet coating under that “skin”.
When you are wiping with the first towel, if you feel like you are pushing it around at first and it looks a little smeary, simply let it sit for a couple of minutes, it will then continue to self level and go clear. Then you can start leveling and buffing.
Users should follow the times in the instructions with a minimum of 1 minute, and then adjust upwards if they think their conditions require it. Users could even leave the coating for 4-5 minutes and it’s not going to hurt.
Make sure you are well within the required temperature range for application and curing.
