BUILT TO LAST

We build the strongest, rarest, and most expensive flip flops on Earth. They are engineered for the harshest conditions the planet can offer, from brutal sun to frigid rain and every climate in between.

These are not for everyone. They are made for those who recognize excellence on sight. For those who understand that precision and patience are not luxuries, but disciplines.

Quality is our passion. Durability is our guarantee.

THE WORLD'S BEST LEATHER

Every pair of Toehold flip flops begins with full-grain American vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, cured in the old-fashioned way using tree bark, roots, and natural tannins. This is the way leather has been cured for thousands of years. This method creates a strong, beautiful, and powerful piece of leather that molds to your foot's natural contours.

The process requires patience. A single hide takes three months to tan, and what emerges is leather unlike anything else on Earth: extraordinarily strong, naturally antimicrobial, moisture-wicking, and beautiful in a way no machine can replicate.

This is the leather that forms the heart of every pair. It adds the structural backbone we require to produce the best flip flops in the world.

Worn over time, it does what only vegetable-tanned leather can do. It molds and shapes itself to your foot until no other pair in the world will feel the same. The zero-drop architecture reinforces this relationship between your foot and the ground, supporting natural alignment and strengthening the foot with every step.

Our exotic leathers are rare. So rare, in fact, that even the great fashion houses of Paris and Milan cannot reliably acquire them. This caliber of leather is reserved for those who demand timeless craftsmanship, and are willing to wait for it.

FEATURED STRENGTH

The thong (the cord that runs between your toes) is engineered to be both extraordinarily strong and almost undetectable to the touch.

The straps are tuned to the same standard. Their tuck-under construction holds the flip flop close to your foot, eliminating the common “slap” that defines lesser pairs and allowing you to move quietly, deliberately, and confidently across any terrain.

Strong copper rivets reinforce the straps, passing entirely through the tread to create a grounding channel between you and the earth. No other flip flop in the world is built this way.

HANDMADE HERITAGE

Each pair of Toehold flip flops is handcrafted in the United States, using a 550-step process that marries ancient leatherwork with modern precision.

Nothing is automated. Nothing is rushed. Every cut, every layer, every burnished edge is the work of a master craftsman who refuses to compromise.

We are not competing to be quick. We are competing to be perfect.

ONE OF A KIND

No two pairs of Toehold flip flops are alike.

Every hide carries its own grain, its own character, and its own story, and we preserve that on purpose. Our leather collection is among the most extensive in the world, drawing from hides most people will never lay eyes on in a lifetime.

Wear them, and the leather contours to the shape of your foot. Age them, and they develop a patina that money cannot buy and a factory cannot duplicate. The longer you own a pair of Toehold flip flops, the more they become yours alone.

ETHICALLY SOURCED LEATHER

Initially, we rejected the idea of using African leathers.

Then we did more research.

What we discovered was a meticulous, conservation-driven process that changed our minds completely.

When an animal perishes, game wardens respond quickly to harvest its remains, distributing the meat to local villagers and turning the hide over to government officials.

Each hide is tagged, tracked, and routed to a government-regulated tannery. Every step is audited for ethical and conservation compliance. Toehold operates in strict accordance with CITES* law, and every product we make is fully traceable from origin to finish.

When you invest in Toehold, you invest in more than craftsmanship. You fund game warden wages and support anti-poaching operations. Most of all, you protect endangered habitats, and the most majestic creatures on Earth, for generations to come.

Best monitor I've had (yet).
Upgraded from a Dell 3818dw widescreen. All the reviews online I've read (or watched on YouTube) about this monitor are spot on. The color is excellent (as been my experience with most Dell Ultrasharp monitors), 120Hz is a nice upgrade, as is HDR (abet only HDR600, and not HDR1000) which is bright. Black level is really good for an IPS panel - this display uses "special new-tech" called IPS-Black. Not as good as OLED, but better than the last IPS panel. Viewing angle is very wide. Response time is adequate for professional use - this is not a gaming monitor, rather a monitor designed to get work done - be it coding, photo/video editing, or 3D modeling, although it works for the light gaming. The built in KVM works well, with the Thunderbolt connecting to a Macbook Pro, while the HDMI connects to a KVM that has 4 systems on it. It is nice that you can turn off the 2.5GB network from switching with the monitor's KVM so the one device you want to use the wired connection (like the Macbook Pro on Thunderbolt) doesn't loose it's wired connection when switching to the other device - little details like that show that the folks who designed the monitor actually deal with these use cases. Highly recommend, especially if on sale.

Great Premium product but overpriced...
Another Great Premium Monitor from Dell with excellent for 2025 Specs! BUT with few Cons: - contrast are not so good in real life (spec 1:2000) due the luck of IPS matrix. great for work in slightly dimmed working environment w/t sun. - plastic feels cheap for that price, but normal for corporate expenses. - prepare extra space on table - mostly for professional usage - NO Remote control :( Pros: - Native 5K Resolution at 120Hz w/t DSC - perfect curvature of screen (less is better) - Tons of Connectivity features for IT Pro users - Great for eye health and long session - Extra 33% of working space after 16:9, 32in monitor - Bunch of usb Ports (B/C ) including power delivery Would be nice to see "Light version" of U4025QW with the same Panel and spec but w/t expensive "Pro HUB" features. The DP + HDMI + 1UpStream(USB-B/C)+DownStream(powered 1USB-C + 1USB3.0) ports should be fine for most demands. Probably called: Home/Personal or Productivity Edition with new code "U4025QE-H/P". Double check with production pipe and accounting dep for targeting market. Thank you DEll... Firm 4+ stars.

All I can say is "wow"
A picture can hardly show the amazing quality of this display, but I've attached one to give you a general idea. I should say that I am not a gamer, so I can't comment on that aspect of this monitor. But for productivity - such as being able to see an entire spreadsheet without horizontal scrolling - it is a game changer. At 120Hz with resolutions up to 5120 x 2160 the quality of video and graphics is stunning. The built in hub has more ports of every kind than I will ever use, and the KVM switching has eased switching between my Mac Studio and Debian Linux server as simple as pressing a button on the back of a monitor. I know this is a lot of money for a monitor, but assuming it is long lasting, this will be the last one I buy for years to come. I spend 8 - 10 hours a day at my computer and this has made that time so much more enjoyable and productive. I should mention it was plug-and-play for both my Mac and Linux operating systems. I plugged it in and it worked.

The best…
5120x2160! Did you read the 2160 vertical!? Yea I can’t stress that enough. Gosh I find it so frustrating there arnt more options in this space. Here is the deal, if you have multiple monitor setup (and you should if you have a work station) you likely will have a couple of 4k monitors kicking around. Now these 4k monitors are staples, and they all have 2160 vertical. If you have 1140 vertical like almost ALL ultra wide monitors do then there will be this annoying stepping with your mouse when you go from one screen to the next. It drives me nuts that the standard for these ultra wides does this. If you don’t have the same resolution vertical from one screen to the next then you won’t have a seamless transition from one screen to the next. It’s just the facts. This dell is one of the only curved ultra wide monitors with 2160 vertical resolution. It runs at 120 hertz which also believe it or not makes it one of the only 5120x2160 resolution monitors on the market to do that. I’m sure you can tell by my writing I have owned a lot of high quality monitors in my time and this one for me is by far the best. I’m switching from a none curved ultra wide 32” LG that runs at 60hrtz. Needless to say this is way better, and sadly there was like this burn in that occurred on my LG that would eventually go away but stick around for the better part of a day. This ultimately put me back in the market looking for a replacement. Point being, now I only buy dell monitors. I’ve never had issues with them , they have great color reproduction, pretty affordable (as of now), basically super reliable all around. Obviously I’m not thrilled about the lack of options for folks that have real work to do on there pcs. All this gamer b.s. in the marketplace, it’s all junk as far as I’m concerned. So if you actually have productive things to do on your pc then you can’t do much better then this monitor, I highly recommend. My only gripe is I wanted a smaller version of this maybe a 32” or 36”, it simply doesn’t exist on the market as of now. However, this works for me, the curved surface buys me back a little desk relestate, and it’s something I really missed with my previous monitor. Side note, I definitely recommend monitor arms for all your monitors. I bought one for the larger center monitor (this one) and it works great. Just be sure you buy one that has a high weight capacity, ideally 44lbs or more. This monitor given its size is 42lbs I believe (although honestly it doesn’t feel nearly that heavy). So just be prepared for that. Hope this is helpful, and I hope the manufacturers wake up one day and realize this screen resolution isn’t a nice to have, it’s a must for a lot of people.

Perfect “Command Center” Monitor for Mac Studio – Worth the Money
Title: Perfect “Command Center” Monitor for Mac Studio – Worth the Money I’m using this Dell U4025QW with a Mac Studio M2 Max, and it’s exactly what I wanted: a huge, sharp, curved workspace that also handles games really well. The 40” 5K2K screen lets me keep Docs, email, browser, and gradebook all open at once without feeling cramped, and the curve makes it comfortable to use for long stretches. Text is clear, colors look great out of the box, and bumping it up to 120 Hz makes macOS feel noticeably smoother. The Thunderbolt/USB-C hub is a big bonus – one cable to the Mac, and everything else (keyboard, mouse, etc.) can live on the back of the monitor, so the desk stays clean. It’s not cheap, but if you live in documents all day and also want your games to look and run smoothly, this is a fantastic “do it all” monitor and I have zero regrets about the purchase.
