Christianity in the United States is in crisis. Liberalism is declining, evangelicalism is splintering, increasing numbers of Christians are slipping away from churches, and more and more young people are for various reasons finding Christianity as they conceive it (a metaphysical thought system, or society of science-deniers, or an ideology for oppressors) not just implausible but repellent. At the same time, Christians across denominational and ideological divides are rediscovering a moral core, especially in the Jesus of the Gospels, that reactivates and unites them, and this kind of faith appeals to many who consider themselves averse to all traditional organized religion. But any revitalized Christian faith is going to need to understand its rootedness in, and interpretation of, Christianity's foundational texts and traditions.

Noted theologian Douglas F. Ottati steps in to offer a theology for this new era. Combining deep learning in texts and traditions with astute awareness of contemporary questions and patterns of thought and life, he asks: what does it mean, in our time, to understand the God of the Bible as Creator and Redeemer? Distilling the content of Christian faith into seventy concise propositions, he explains each in lucid, cogent prose. A Theology for the Twenty-First Century will be an essential textbook for those training for ministry in our current climate, a wise guide for contemporary believers who wonder how best to understand and communicate their faith, and an inviting and intelligent resource for serious inquirers who wonder whether the way of Jesus might help them grasp the real world while remaining open to the transcendent.

give this amazon basic option a try
Size: Standard (Pack of 2), Style: Soft, Configuration: Pillow
great comfort and value for everyday use. Designed with soft density, they provide gentle support that works well for stomach and back sleepers, helping maintain a comfortable sleeping position throughout the night. The down alternative fill feels plush yet lightweight, making the pillow cozy without being too firm. It holds its shape reasonably well and is suitable for guest rooms or daily use. While side sleepers may need more support, this pillow is a solid, affordable option for anyone looking for soft, breathable comfort.

I am very impressed!
This little frother is perfect and my frappé coffee tastes as if I were sitting at one of the hundreds cute, outside cafés in Thessaloniki. It whips stiff coffee foam in just a few seconds, holds charge for a long time, and appears to be of superior quality. Variable speed control is great, as it prevents the coffee liquid to splash when starting the frothing process. Granted, I have only owned it for about 2 weeks, but I am totally impressed, and hope it'll keep making delicious frappés for me for a long time to come. So far, highly recommend!

Whips as good as my Nespresso Aerocino!
Love this frother. Whips milk as good as my Nespresso Aerocino! I have tried several that just made light foam, but this one is wonderful. And, rechargeable also. Charge lasts a very long time. Great for travel!

Solid Upgrade, Needs Color Variety
Replaced my old frother with this one and it's a solid step up. Seriously, better build quality, more features, and noticeably more control. The variable speed dial is genuinely useful. Being able to dial from low (protein powder, matcha) to high (thick cappuccino foam) feels like an actual upgrade. The three whisk attachments give you flexibility depending on what you're making, and the included stand is a nice touch. Helps keeps the coffee bar counter from getting cluttered. Battery life seems strong so far; one charge has lasted through multiple weeks of daily use without issue. Pros: - Variable speed dial works well across a real range (not just "low" and "high") - Three whisk heads included — good for different drink types - Stand included; compact and stays put on the counter Cons: - Singular color option. The mint green clashes with everything on my coffee bar setup; wish there were neutral alternatives. ANY alternatives! - Everyone may not like the price tag but it wasn't out of my budget and the included extra bits made it worth it for me. If your kitchen palette doesn't fight the mint green, this is a capable, well-built frother at a decent price.
