Jaipur Silk Fino is a super fine mulberry silk with a perfectly smooth yarn structure and a wonderful shimmer. This drapey yarn brings to light the most complicated patterns and with its perfect climate properties, it is your companion all year round.

Meterage: 300m per 50 gram hank. This yarn comes in skeins that will need to be wound before using. 
Suggested Needles: 2mm-3mm
Recommended Care: Cold hand wash, lay flat to dry

Note: The glossy surface and the lack of elasticity of non animal fibres results in a tendency to grow after washing. So please take this into consideration when swatching. It may lengthen by about 10%.

Also: Silk absorbs a lot of dye stuff. Some bleeding of darker colours is unavoidable. Please rinse in cold water, with a little vinegar added, until clear before mixing with light colours or wearing on a white blouse.

Nature is important to us, therefore Jaipur Silk Fino is dyed with AZO free and Oeko-Tex certified dyes, this means that the dye process is gentle to the environment.
