In 1979, long-time Highlife veteran Aigbe Lebarty decided to try his hand at high-energy disco funk. Checking the Lebartone Aces at the door, he borrowed the Sex Bombers from Prince Omo Lawal-Osula and created Unity, a sure-fire dance floor stomper that channels 'Ring My Bell' into a clarion cry for, well, unity... and a good time. The title track is the undisputed highlight of the album. It rattles along in a wonky, skittish fashion, with the high-pitched toms dueling with the Sex Bombers in a musical game of Space Invaders. 'His Highness Erediauwa 1 Oba Of Benin (Part 1 &2)', sees Aigbe slips back into Highlife like a comfortable pair of slippers. The tracks were a gift to Erediauwa, who had just been crowned the 38th ruler of the Edo people in Benin City. Like eastern Nigeria, Benin City had remained a haven for highlife, so no surprises there. Spookily, the re-issue of this album by PMG coincides with the passing of his Highness Erediauwa 1 and the coronation of his successor. Works really well. Cit through my Saint Augustine grass like a breeze and it is super thick. Very happy with purchase. Battery has good life, charged it for a full 24hrs before use and it last a long time. They send 2 blades and the battery with charger which is a huge plus because everything else I looked at you had to purchase those separately and it was just as much as the edger. This is a great deal and worth the money. Highly recommend 👌

Edging made easy

Surprised how well this works.
I was looking for no cord for long driveway. The battery takes a bit to fully charge, but lasts for the entire job. The levels for depth make edging around d flower beds or raised beds easy- not really a trench, but gives a good edge.
Lightweight and easy to manage. Definitely lighter than my corded edger.
The blade is sensitive and the guide to keep it steady along concrete is not great- just need to make sure you watch closely or it will spark when it hits the concrete.

It’s junk

Deserves a zero. Like some others said on here, it runs for 3 seconds and just stops with battery fully charged. I got it for Christmas so too late to return. More China junk.
