The Recon 1.0 was made for riders who set out on two wheels to seek the great outdoors and saddle up their bike for the adventure ahead, with the scientifically proven performance benefits of Body Geometry. The Recon 1.0’s purpose is to add confidence and functionality for riders who push their limits uphill for an unforgettable view, maybe are even clipping in for the first time, or are hopping on their trainer for an after-work hammer session on the spin bike. Comfort and versatility are key, and that’s what the Recon 1.0 was made for. Body Geometry: Like every Body Geometry shoe, the Recon 1.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven to improve comfort, increase performance, and reduce the chance of injury for every rider with patented technology, while improving power by 7 watts - validated by science. Stride Technology: Stride technology provides a flexible outsole and upper around the toe box combined with a stiff cleat pocket, enabling the shoe to easily flex when walking and remain stiff and efficient when pedaling. Efficiency: The Recon 1.0 utilizes an L6 BOA® Dial with soft lace made from a Dyneema yarn, eliminating unwanted stretch while removing hard molded guides to give riders a more supple upper that comfortably conforms to the foot. Additionally, the outsole is optimized to put your power on the pedal through balanced stiffness. Body Geometry sole and footbed are built with purpose and backed by science to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.Injection STRIDE toe-flex technology allows for natural toe movement off-bike but remains stiff for pedaling (stiffness index 6.0)
L6 BOA® Dial with soft-lace cables made from a Dyneema yarn.
SlipNot™ rubber tread for confident traction on all terrain.
Two-bolt cleat pattern fits all major MTB pedals.

Is the Bible Really Unique?
Format: Kindle
Oswalt takes up the question of the uniqueness of the Christian Bible by focusing on the Old Testament (which is also the holy book of the Jews) and its similarities and differences to the myths of the periods in which it was put together. His comparison and contrast make for very interesting reading. He allows the two world views to stand alone, allowing the reader to understand his conclusions without forcing him/her to agree with the author. In reading this book, I also began to notice some very interesting parallels between the ancient worldview of "continuity" (versus the biblical view that Oswalt calls "transcendence") and some modern views being espoused in the Western world. Definitely worth a read whether or not you agree with him. It will help broaden your view both of your view and of the other side's view.

Good Core Content but I won't read it again
Format: Kindle
This book makes a strong stand for the position that the Bible does not fit within the genre of myth. That is the positive aspects of this work. However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.
