The artist was in charge of the story bord for The Lion King in the 90’s and has worked on multiple film including the 1989 “The Little Mermaid” as a storyboard artist; the 1991 “Beauty and the Beast” as key layout and workbook artist; the 1998 “Mulan”, the 2005 “Madagascar” and the more recent 2010 “How to Train Your Dragon” as a story artist.

With an award-winning soundtrack featuring numbers by Elton John and Hans Zimmer, and a cast with such voice actors as James Earl Jones, Whoopi Goldberg and Rowan Atkinson, it is unsurprising that Walt Disney's 1994 animated film 'The Lion King' continues to be a global favourite. It won two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, had two sequels and one prequel, spawned a global touring Broadway production and, most recently, a photo-realistic adaptation in 2019 featuring the voices of Beyoncé and Donald Glover. The original film from 1994 is still the high-grossing traditionally animated film of all time and this drawing is taken from an original storyboard created and used by the animators during the film's early production.
