Parameter Press Quarterly is a series of art publications. Each year, four artists or artist collectives are invited to complete a risograph edition with the content and format of their choice. Typically delivered by mail over the course of the year, individual copies are also available for sale.
Michael Boss is an artist and educator living in Winnipeg, Canada. His artwork ranges from drawing and painting to photography, sculpture, installation, performance and poetry. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Canada, in the United States, Australia, Germany and Ukraine. Michael held the position of Assistant Professor of Fine Art at Mount Allison University and Lakehead University. He has also taught art at other post secondary institutions in Manitoba and Ontario. He was Head of Education at The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in Brandon for 7 years and was Head of Studio Programs at The Winnipeg Art Gallery from 1998-2014.
Diana Thorneycroft is a Winnipeg artist who has exhibited various bodies of work across Canada, the United States and Europe, as well as in Moscow, Tokyo and Sydney. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2016 Manitoba Arts Award of Distinction, an Assistance to Visual Arts Long-term Grant from the Canada Council, several Senior Arts Grants from the Manitoba Arts Council and a Fleck Fellowship from the Banff Centre for the Arts.
Thorneycroft taught as a sessional instructor at the University of Manitoba's School of Art for 25 years. Since 2010 she has been focusing on her studio practice full time, and has gallery representation in Canada, the US and Europe.
