Just like our basic kit, but with a few upgrades. This is the simplest and cleanest way to safely mount a window net in a SpecMiata.
Just like our basic kit but with a few upgrades. In our basic kit, the lower mounting strap is made from aluminum and requires you to fabricate your own attachment from the lower Aluminum strap to the roll cage. With this complete kit we have upgraded the Aluminum strap to steel for additional strength and had it laser cut to include a slot in the end of it so that you can thread through our included Kevlar strap for a complete mounting solution. No trips to the store on this one. This kit has everything you need to install it in the car and go racing.
The strap is made from Kevlar and has a 12,000lb tensile strength rating and includes a high strength buckle making adjusting the net slack extremely simple. Since there is not a need for a cable attachment you eliminate a failure point in the crimping of the cable together and your roll cage kit does not get all scratched up from the cable. This is an extremely effective nice looking total solution for mounting your window net.
Window Net installation kit - Spring loaded (front to rear) installation kit drops down from the top. This kit DOES NOT have the annoying GM buckle set up that you have to crawl over when entering and exiting the vehicle. This kit DOES NOT include the window net.
If you look closely in the picture below, you can see the mounting tabs are tucked up out of the way of the driver getting in and out of the vehicle.
This kit adheres to the recent SCCA GCR ruling on window net mounting.
