OptiMate Lithium Battery Charger TM-271

Professional OptiMate battery charger for 12.8V and 16V Lithium batteries. (Plug type is USA 120V.) The Optimate TM-271 is perfect for high performance 12.8V (4s) and 16V (5s) LiFePO4 / LFP batteries that demand fully automatic, fast and accurate temperature controlled charging. Perfect for 12.8V / 16V LiFePO4 / LFP batteries sized from 2.5 to 200 Ah. Features a Power-Saving stand-by mode and Full electronic protection against errors. 3-year limited warranty.

Special Features:

  • Battery SAVE mode with BMS reset: starts from 0.5V with continuous monitoring / testing of charge acceptance or bad / shorted cell condition. Unnecessary (and unsafe) charging of a bad battery is prevented.
  • SafeTº:Automatic charge rate adjustment to ambient temperature sensed at the charger. Reduced charging below freezing, no charging if temperature is below -20ºC/-4ºF (can damage lithium batteries).
  • Ampmatic: Microprocessor adjusts current to ideal LiFePO4 charge curve to match battery size / condition, for fastest and most complete charge.
  • Protection against incorrect voltage selection: With 16V selected and a 12.8V (4s) battery is connected OptiMate 7 LFP Select will immediately warn that a low voltage is sensed and then not proceed to charging. USER must confirm the nominal voltage of the connected battery is 16V (5s) before SAVE mode activates. During SAVE mode the charge curve is tracked, if the battery appears to be less than a 5-series 16V battery, it will stop charging.

SAFE: No risk of overcharging. Totally safe for vehicle electronics. Sparks suppressed. Safe for long-term battery maintenance. Automatic shut-down if short-circuited or battery disconnected.

Look great
These are absolutely fantastic inline fuses for your amplifier or battery hookup. I got the two pack of 200 because I am running a 4,000 watt amp that requires two separate positives as well as two separate negatives. They are the perfect size and easy to change the fuse. The top comes off easily. It comes with the tools you need to put the wires in or take them off. All in all, I feel like I got a fantastic value with these and I would definitely buy these again.

Have these connected to OFC 0 gauge wire running nearly 10K watts they handle it perfect!
It’s been months since I bought these and I run one coming off my main battery and then another on my auxiliary battery. I’ve got a huge alternator and running nearly 10K on my set up before I even started to think about what Speakers size or anything like that I made sure that the power and wiring is gonna be top notch. I see almost no voltage drops have not had a problem with these whatsoever.
