Evolution Aqua Detox Koi Fish Pond Dechlorinator 12" up to 225000L

The Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator for common and koi fish ponds is a quick and simple method of filtering out harmful chlorine and other impurities from tap water. It is ideal for first fill, water changes and top-ups, for wildlife ponds, koi fish ponds, garden goldfish ponds and also indoor aquariums.

Chlorine, and its sister chemical chloramine, are commonly used in high concentrations in mains supply tap water making it safe for humans to drink. The level of chlorine used is safe for humans but causes harm to most aquatic life. As the majority of people will fill their brand new ponds straight from the hose pipe, de-chlorination is an important step in the pond building process and the chlorine levels most certainly need to be addressed before any fish are introduced.

There’s no need to wait for chlorine to gas-off or to use liquid treatments. Simply fill up straight from the hosepipe via the 12" Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator. This unit simply connects to garden hose or rigid pipe work with standard hose fittings (supplied).

The Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator is fitted with hi-grade activated carbon which removes chlorine, chloramine, bromine, malachite green, dyes, colours, humic acids, organics, proteins, antibiotics, hormones and ozone.

The Evolution Aqua 12" inch high-grade activated carbon filter will treat up to*: 225,000 Litres / 49,493 U.K. Gallons / 59,439 U.S. Gallons
*Maximum treatable water is based on incoming 0.5ppm chlorine.

Recommended flow rate: 4 litres per minute
Rated for use with standard household mains water pressure only
Dimensions: 389 x 112mm (length x width)

  • No messy cartridge changes - just un-clip and replace
  • Highest grade activated carbon
  • 100% fish safe water dechlorinator
  • Extremely high toxin removal rate
  • Simple to use - straight out of the box
  • Extremely economical - lowest cost per gallon of pond water treated
  • Clean and 'no hassle' pond water changes via hose
  • Can be used on a constant trickle feed
  • Ideal for first fills of ponds or aquariums

Sounds great.
Just received my Onkyo TX-NR 7100, watched a few YouTube videos before it arrived, so set up was easy. Ran accuEQ, I am getting new front speakers so I’ll wait to run Dirac. After accuEQ, I still had to make a few adjustments, to the speaker levels and especially the sub. It set my subwoofer way too low. As of right now having no problems with Bluetooth. I’ve only listened to music so far, can’t wait to watch a movie. For now I have a 5.1.2. System, getting new fronts, the Klipsch r51-m’s will go to the rear surround and Klipsch r41-m’s will be my height speakers in a 5.1.4 system. So far loving this avr. Update 2: Just calibrated with Dirac for the 6th time. They tell you if you sit in a recliner, reclined measure with it reclined. Well I measured with the chair in its upright position. It makes a huge difference I hear the surrounds much better. Btw I listen to all channel stereo, I know audiophiles say it sucks, however I listened to 2 channel stereo for 20 years, when there was nothing else. I didn’t buy a 9 channel avr to listen to 2 channel stereo. Like Randy the cheap audio man says “ audiophiles aren’t always right. If it sounds good to you, that’s all that matters.” So try calibrating in the upright position, or if you sit on a stationary chair or couch, try positioning the mic slightly forward of your listening position. It makes a huge difference. Hope this helps, enjoy. Update: Ok bought Klipsch rp-600m speakers for the front with 52c center. 51m surrounds, 41m rear heights. Polk owm3 front heights. Why Polk? Lighter easy to hang and as height speakers they are only there for atmos. Ran Dirac live, the application does what it would take several hours to make it sound like it does, if I even could get it to sound so good. Apple TV 4K with my Hisense U8K. The google tv interface is ok, but Apple TV is faster and easier. The Onkyo 7100 is a gem, runs pretty warm but I have it out in the open. If you are going to put in a cabinet I suggest a fan. Very happy with the whole system.

Well made, a solid connection.
Size: 6 Pairs / 12 pcs
I liked them. They really lock down on the speaker wire to make a firm connection. They seem well made and are easy to install. My system sounds great.

Works as intended
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
These banana plugs are quite easy to use, and securely connected my speaker cables to the receiver. They have a quality feel as well.

Tips broke in the binding post
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
UPDATE: Two tips broke off when unplugging them from the binding post and are now lodged in. Inexcusable and an utterly poor product. Solid connection in the binding post with no wobble or wiggle. They require some force to insert into the binding post, but once they're in they remain snug. I also tried removing and reinserting a few times and the connection remained solid. I've used other plugs in the past that have a softer tip and easily deform after one or two insertions. These do not have that issue.
