Una mañana gélida, dos hombres se miran a través de la ventana de un café en Chicago. Se tocan ligeramente con los ojos, como si se conocieran de antes, de otra vida. No se hablan, sólo se graban la figura del otro y quedan a la espera de que un venturoso azar los haga coincidir de nuevo. Y sí esa misma noche coinciden.

La atracción física es instantánea; el sexo, patentemente sabroso. Su deseo recíproco de tener una relación amorosa está en parte incitado por el uso de drogas recreativas. A pesar de que uno de ellos debe mudarse a la esquina opuesta del país y renunciar a su vida como escort y como sicoterapeuta, inician una vida en pareja, instalada exclusivamente en el presente; en un mundo sin historia y sin futuro. Sin embargo, tras un periodo de absoluta felicidad, el pasado irrumpe con fuerza devastadora y precipita esta historia de amor hacia un triste, casi trágico final.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

"I have him by the hand, and I'm not going to let him go."

One freezing morning, two men look at each other through the window of a café in Chicago. They look each other up and down, as if they knew each other from before, from another life. They do not speak to each other; they only memorize the figure of the other and wait for a lucky chance to meet again. And yes: that same night they meet again.

The physical attraction is instantaneous; the sex, patently tasty. Their reciprocal desire for a sexual relationship is partly prompted by the use of recreational drugs. Despite the fact that one of them must move to the opposite corner of the country and give up his life as an escort and as a psychotherapist, they begin a life as a couple, exclusively ensconced in the present; in a world without history and without future. However, after a period of absolute happiness, the past erupts with devastating force and hastens this love story towards a sad, almost tragic end.
