The Touratech 'bridged' handlebar risers for the BMW F850GS adds bar height and braces the handlebar clamps to minimize the twisting and flexing of the bars to provide riders with more precision control. These bar risers do not require new cables or modifications for installation.
Many riders find that increasing bar height makes a noticeable improvement to their comfort. Raising the bar height results in a more upright position which can relieve neck and back strain. Touratech bar risers also enable a more comfortable and controlled standing position, which is ideal for off-road riding or just stretching the body on a long ride.
These aluminum bar risers are precision-crafted at the Touratech factory in Germany. They are designed specifically for the handlebars of the BMW F850GS. (They do not fit the F750GS)
NOTE: If you have the BMW GPS prep package with mount bolted to the handlebars or would like to use the Touratech GPS bar, 082-5410, you will need special bolts to install these risers. For 20mm risers, order part 082-5415. For 35mm risers, order part 082-5416.
