"Our soft enamel ball markers start with our design being stamped into a metal base. The color is then filled into the base, after which it goes through ovens to harden and hold the enamel in place. When dry and clear, the enamel does not reach the top of the metal base, which is why the ball marker is not completely smooth and has raised areas. We can achieve higher levels of detail with soft enamel ball markers because the enamel does not fill over the top of the metal lines, making them more distinct and allowing more detail to be seen."
