Upgraded EKPM3Our upgraded EKMP3's offer a 22 Amp INCREASE in maximum current capacity over an OEM EKPM3. Our upgraded EKMP3's offer a 22 Amp INCREASE in maximum current capacity over an OEM EKPM3. This allows for more current to be supplied to your low pressure fuel pump (LPFP) without risking thermal overload, which often leads to your car shutting down. This means that you won't have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road while waiting for your EKP module to cool down, especially when you've installed a large low pressure fuel pump such as a Walbro 525lph or 535lph.

What makes this an upgrade over a factory EKMP3?

We start off by taking a brand new EKMP3 and removing the stock half bridge IC fuel pump motor driver and then we replace it with a brand new genuine Infineon half bridge IC. The half bridge IC is responsible for supplying varying current based on flow requests from the DME (the car's computer). This takes the brunt of the load and what causes thermal overload shutdowns on factory EKMP3s when using a larger-than-stock low pressure fuel pump. The factory half bridge is rated for a maximum of 33A at 60 seconds, but can only supply a sustained 17 - 18A before shutting down. Our upgrade allows for a maximum of 55A at 60 seconds and can supply a sustained 30+A without overheating*. This allows for significantly more headroom when using something such as a Walbro 535 or Walbro 525lph pump.

Important Fitment Notes:

  • Please make sure to choose the EKMP3 that corresponds with your chassis. For example, if you have an E-Chassis (Non-M), make sure to choose the EKMP3 that has "E-Chassis" in the name.  (Please see below for E-Chassis fitment).
  • If you have an F-Chassis (Non-M), please make sure to choose the EKMP3 that has "F-Chassis" in the name. (Please see below for F-Chassis fitment).
  • These will not work with any M cars. (M3, M4, M2, etc...) Unless they are powered by an N55 or N54 and use a compatible EKP module.
  • B58, B48 and B46-powered cars do not use an EKPM3.

FAQ:

  • Does this upgrade require coding?
    • Yes. Although the module may work without being coded, we strongly recommend that you properly code the module to your vehicle. Coding can be completed with ProTool or NCS Expert for E-Chassis. For F-Chassis vehicles, we recommend using ProTool, E-SYS or any other capable program to perform coding operations. We strongly recommend installation and coding to be performed by a qualified professional. Failure to code the module to your vehicle upon installation will void the module's warranty.
  • Can you code this for me?
    • We currently do not have the ability for remote coding or bench coding for these modules.
  • Do I need active cooling?
    • If you are using a factory sized low pressure fuel pump, no active cooling is required. However if you are using a Walbro 450lph or anything larger, it is required to get the best longevity out of your new EKMP3.
  • How does the integrated automatic cooling work?
    • The integrated automatic cooling works by us installing a thermal activation switch directly onto the new half bridge IC. When the half bridge IC reaches 50°C, the 40mm fan will turn on and keep running until the IC is below 50°C or until the EKMP3 stops receiving power.
  • I have an EKPM2, can I upgrade to this?
    • Yes. You can upgrade to this. We recommend using the HW05 and below module. You will need to code it in order for it to function properly.
  • Can I run more than 1 low pressure fuel pump off of this module?
    • No. We do not recommend that you use more than one low pressure fuel pump with any EKP module due to the factory wiring supplying power to the EKP Module is only 14 gauge, which is not rated for the type of power demands that two low pressure fuel pumps would require. However, if you have a second pump running off of a Hobbs switch or relay, our Upgraded EKPM3 will still work in that configuration.

Other Information:

This product is not DOT approved and is not intended to be installed in a vehicle for street use and may void your vehicle's warranty.

This product does not guarantee to fix any issues that your vehicle may be experiencing and is only intended to perform as an enhanced replacement for your OEM part.

*The factory wiring cannot sustain more than 20A of current for a very short duration. Overheating the of the module can still occur if factory wiring or connectors are damaged, corroded or loose. Additionally, overheating can occur if the upgraded EKPM3 loses CAN bus connection as it will trigger a failsafe to 100% duty cycle as a factory module would. Installing an E-Chassis EKPM3 in an F-Chassis vehicle or vice versa will damage the module and make it ineligible for return or warranty.

Warranty Information:

This product comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Modules must be coded upon installation in order to retain their warranty. Damage caused by melted factory wiring or connectors will void the module's warranty. not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
