The beacons use ultrasonic pings, connected via an ISM band telemetry connection to accurately and affordably tracking objects indoors. To extend the range of the indoor positioning starter kit , you can add more beacons to increase the coverage area. This beacon is designed to be a mobile beacon since it has an internal IMU sensor, however, it can also just as easily be used as a stationary beacon by changing the settings via the configuration software.

This beacon includes a 915/868Mhz radio (software switchable)
