Hallmarks & Provenance
Marked on the bottom for Geschützt (protected/patented), c. 1900. The bronze is of the highest quality associated with Vienna Bronzes, with superb modeling and expression. Possibly made by Bergmann, one of the most celebrated makers of Viennese cold painted bronzes.

Condition
Very good antique condition. Some wear to paint, a small dent in the top of the egg, and small marks on both the eggshell and egg, all in accordance with age and use. Additional photos available upon request.
