The truck's stock steel pan leaves behind over 1/2 qt. of oil during an oil change, but this higher capacity AFE Oil Pan is designed to help drain more oil, so it is fresh oil in the crankcase every time. The cast aluminum construction with internal & external fins and additional 1 qt of oil offer improved performance and keep the oil temperatures down.
Increased Oil Capacity:
This oil pan has an increased oil capacity of approximately one quart overstock for better performance over a longer duration.
Heater Port:
Pre-tapped with a 1/2” NPT port, this pan is designed to accept standard oil heaters. In cold weather, this helps with easier start-ups and less wear on the vehicle.
Powder Coat:
The black powder coat on this pan helps protect it from the outside conditions, providing both longevity and style.
Built-in Internal/External Fins:
Built-in internal and external fins transfer heat from the oil to the outside air for maximum cooling.
Magnetic Plug:
This pan incorporates a magnetic drain plug to capture loose particles for maximum protection.
