Alle aspecten van het tekenen met potlood passeren de revue: je leert vormen herkennen, basislijnen zetten, uitvergroten, structuren nabootsen, werken met licht en donker, de juiste handhouding en het zetten van lijnen met potlood. e volgt diverse oefeningen om je techniek te verbeteren en werkt van begin tot eind aan projecten om je skills te oefenen met grafietpotlood, kleurpotlood, pastelpotlood en charcoal. De moeilijkheidsgraad verschilt en wordt opgebouwd naarmate je verder in het boek komt, zodat zelfs de geoefende tekenaar nog nieuwe dingen zal leren! Julia Woning studeerde af aan de Willem de Kooning Academie en werkt sindsdien als illustrator, portrettist, beeldend kunstenaar en teken- en schilderdocent. Ze werkt in haar eigen atelier in Bergschenhoek, waar ze ook verschillende workshops verzorgt. Van haar hand verschenen eerder haar instructieboeken Kleurtechniekenworkshop, Aquarel Workshop, Workshop PanPastel en Artjournalworkshop.

Color is not the same as picture, too light, assembly is harder than it should be

I had higher hopes for this table given the 80 dollar price tag. The gray finish is MUCH brighter than what is displayed in the picture. What's advertised matched the gray Adirondack set that I currently have in my yard, what came in was about 5 shades lighter. The assembly only had a few steps to it with a total of 8 bolts but it was more difficult that it had to be has the holes didn't line up very well and I actually had to bend one of the metal pieces to get the screw to line up. I ordered this piece initially to serve two purposes, the first was to add more stability to my ever blowing over umbrella, the second was to add a matching table piece in-between my two Adirondack chairs. This piece does neither very well. It is too light in color to match and serve to complete the set, and it is not heavy enough to add any layer of stability. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this piece.
