Ingredienten

Gebruik
Gebruik voor volwassenen: 1-2 tabletten 2 x per dag met warm water.Bevat zoethout: mensen met een hoge bloeddruk dienen overmatig gebruik te vermijden.Ashwagandha:Let op bij gebruik van schildkliermedicijnen.Onvoldoende gegevens bekend over gebruik tijdens zwangerschap en borstvoeding.

What a wonderful mystery, a grand heroine who is polishing her detective skills.
All the pomp of the gentile classes at their play. Murders, theft, and dogs in the highlands, what could be better?

Promising start to new mystery series.
Format: Kindle
Lady Persephone "Poppy" Proudfoot attends a house party at an estate, meets some American actors, and tries to solve the murder of a stranger to the village whose body is discovered by the lake. The first in a series, this book is a quick read with a plot that moves along, although some of the large cast of characters seem superfluous (e.g., the American visitors). Poppy is a widow, a law-school graduate (in the 1920s!), and ran a hospital for wounded soldiers during WW1, so an interesting character to read about. A promising beginning to the series and I look forward to the next book. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the eARC.
