De familie Triebaumer is al sinds 1691 gevestigd in Rust en staan bekend als producent van allerbestewijnen, met name van de Blaufränkisch. De Triebaumers zijn een hechte familie en bijna 100% zelfvoorzienend.

De omgang met flora en fauna is hen uitermate belangrijk. Stroom wordt zelf opwekt, het water voor het koelen van wijnen tijdens de gisting komt uit een eigen bron en wordt aansluitend weer compleet aan de natuur teruggegeven. In de wijngaarden 'werkt' een kudde schapen die als team perfect worden ingezet voor het ontbladeren, maaien en het creëren van voldoende humus die wederom CO2 opslaat en goed is voor het milieu. 

Spontaan vergist, gerijpt op gebruikte houten vaten tussen 300 en 5.000 liter, voor 6 tot 22 maanden, ongefilterd op fles.

Mooie tonen van blauwe bes, zwarte bes, peperkoek, kaneel en gedroogde peren. Sappig maar met een krachtige body en stevige tannines. Karafferen en serveren in een groot glas is aanbevolen!

Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
