In China en Korea worden deze vitrines traditioneel gebruikt als altaar kastjes. Bij ons in het westen zie je ze steeds meer in interieurs verschijnen om bijzondere objecten in te etaleren.

Erg mooi zowel in een luxe- bohemien, als in een Oosters- interieur!
Maar omdat hij van natuurlijke materialen is gemaakt kun je hem combineren met elke stijl interieur.

De exemplaren die Houtkoorts verkoopt worden in kleine familiebedrijven geproduceerd. Zo weten we dat de arbeidsvoorwaarden goed zijn, en de kastjes met zorg handgemaakt worden.
Doordat ze in verschillende kleine bedrijfjes worden geproduceerd durven wij onze hand er niet voor in het vuur te steken dat ze ook allemaal van dezelfde houtsoort zijn gemaakt.
Ook kunnen er door handmatige metingen wat verschil in formaat zitten. Bestel je er meerdere, dan proberen wij altijd een aantal kastjes uit te zoeken die het meest op elkaar lijken.

Een object komt trouwens het beste tot zijn recht in de vitrine als hij wel een beetje de ruimte krijgt. Dus een object dat bijna tegen het glas geprakt wordt ziet er minder mooi uit dan een voorwerp dat even een paar centimeter van het glas vrij staat.

Het glas is volledig transparant. sommige beeldschermen vertekenen de foto's wat, maar het is gewoon glas, zonder tint.

Let op!
Deze kastjes worden geleverd met onze transporteur en niet met de standaard pakketbezorgdiensten. Dit om schade en teleurstellingen te voorkomen. De levering duurt daardoor wel langer dan je van ons gewend bent. Na jouw bestelling neemt de leverancier (doorgaans binnen een week) contact met je op om een afleverafspraak te maken. Heb je haast? Dan kun je eventueel je bestelling (tegen een gereduceerd tarief) afhalen in Bierum.  Neem hiervoor contact met ons op. 

Pas op: Staat er bij de maat die je wilt dat je die als nabestelling kunt plaatsen? Dan kan dit best wel eens lang duren. In de regel kunnen we de kastjes bij onze leverancier in Nederland bestellen, maar als ook hij ze niet meer op voorraad heeft, dan moeten we wachten op de nieuwste levering uit China. (een container uit China is over het algemeen 3 maanden onderweg) Wil je dus een kastje bestellen die niet op voorraad staat in de webwinkel? Vraag dan als je niet 3 maanden wilt wachten even of we jouw kastje eerder kunnen leveren voor je jouw bestelling plaatst.
