What is amber?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin from coniferous trees from the Scandinavian region, approximately 44 million years old. At that time, there was a relatively mild climate, and the coniferous forest extended far into the Scandinavian region with trees up to 40 meters high. Amber, contrary to what the name suggests, is petrified resin and not a stone. Amber feels very comfortable on the skin; it is light and not cold.

Which size should I choose?
Our amber bracelets can be worn as either a bracelet or an anklet, entirely according to your preference. On average, the baby bracelet (14 cm) fits up to 3 years old, but every child is built differently. It's best to measure it yourself. You can do this by cutting a string to the different lengths and trying them on. The children's bracelet can be worn for a long time, fitting both small and older children. This size of bracelet is even ideal for adults with slender wrists.

Safety
General safety instruction: "Children under three years of age should not wear jewelry without adult supervision. Because it contains small parts." This also applies to wearing our amber necklaces.
