Rarely do we see a solid walnut wine table, especially one this size. Most French vendage tables were made to serve workers lunch in the vineyards and were then folded and stored in the barn when not in use. The fact that this one doesn't tilt for storage and is in such good condition, leads us to think it was only used inside the cellar of a chateau or winery for wine tastings.
