How do you like your eggs in the morning? We like ours the ecoegg way.
The ecoegg Laundry Egg is a 2 in 1 replacement for laundry detergent + conditioner, giving you a greener laundry solution. It cleans clothes effectively using two types of pellets – white washing pellets and the black tourmaline pellets – encased in a recyclable, refillable laundry egg case.
The white pellets do the cleaning and the black pellets increase the efficiency of the white pellets by reducing the water surface tension, drawing out the dirt. The egg itself helps to remove dirt and soften your laundry items.
Kinder to the environment and gentler on skin than traditional washing detergents. ALL Laundry Eggs are rated `Excellent` by Dermatest for sensitive skin. We encourage the use of our Fragrance Free Laundry Egg for babies and those with particularly sensitive skin as this egg is entirely removed from any perfume and has held the Allergy UK endorsement since 2011.
Should you need to buy more tourmaline pellets, they are included in Laundry Egg Refill packs or you can buy them separately here.
Open your Laundry Egg and fill the larger half of the egg with the two types of mineral pellets - 2 bags of white and one bag of black pellets. Close your egg so that it ‘clicks’ and place it in your washing machine on top of your laundry. The mineral pellets work together in the water to effectively draw dirt from your clothing fibres and soften your clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using harmful chemical laden detergents. The laundry egg can be used from 15 to 60 degrees celsius.
Once you’ve used your Laundry Egg for around 50 washes fill the egg up with more pellets - you can refills at The Well Store.

The ecoegg cleaning pellets are non toxic and do not contain any harsh chemicals, petrochemicals, enzymes, optical brighteners or phosphates.
