I/O is tailored for desktop hybrid rigs. Two front-end XLR combo inputs handle mic/line duties with 48 V on tap, and a dedicated Hi-Z instrument input sits ready for DI bass or guitar. Balanced monitor outputs feed your mains, an additional pair of line outs supports alternate speakers or hardware sends, and a front-panel headphone jack manages private cue mixes. An optical input adds up to eight channels of ADAT at 44.1/48 kHz (SMUX at higher rates) when you need more preamps for drums or ensembles. Thunderbolt connectivity keeps round-trip latency low and supports multi-Apollo configurations.
Session control is immediate. The large encoder governs monitor level with mute, dim, and mono at fingertip reach, and per-channel gain with metering makes headroom obvious. Console software builds low-latency cue mixes, recalls routings, and lets you commit or just monitor through UAD plug-ins like 1176, LA-2A, API Vision, or tape without touching the host CPU.
