Each museum-quality illumination is made with bright archival water resistant inks on velvety smooth lightfast acid free pH neutral 100% α-cellulose German Etching paper by Hahnemühle who’s papers have been prized in European houses of nobility for centuries for their highest levels of craftsmanship and superb durability.

Only 500 Bergamot Gold illuminations each of two sizes* will be made from the original 6.5”x10.5” colored pencil and gold illumination of the same name that was set in a digital red border. The 4”x6” version was discontinued after making the first 17. The smaller one can fit in an 8”x10” frame and the larger in an 11”x14” frame with custom cut matting. ~ Royal Delft blues & the sunbathed tones of desert landscapes dance together in this rich Middle Eastern design From a leather book binding made for Sultan Mahmet II in the mid 1400’s.
