Treasures from THE RADEBAUGH COLLECTION at Lost Highways Archive & Research Library. By exclusive arrangement with The Grand Review.

Print size 18 x 24, and consciously formatted to work with a standard size store bought frame, or custom framed as you see fit.

Please note that this print is EXCLUSIVE TO THE COLLECTION AT THE GRAND REVIEW.

Part of futurist illustrator Arthur Radebaugh's Lost Portfolio as found in Philadelphia in the late 1990s in the collection of Lost Highways Archive & Research Library.  This rediscovered portfolio became the heart of an exhibit called RADEBAUGH, THE FUTURE WE WERE PROMISED.  Opening first in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia, just across the street from Benjamin Franklin's house, the Radebaugh exhibit received wide coverage on the new world wide web.  It traveled to Nantes in the Loire Valley of France, then was recurated by cultural anthropologist Jared Rosenbaum to go on to further acclaim as the inaugural exhibit of the new facility for the National Automotive History Collection in Detroit.

Coincidentally, this print features a skyscraper very reminiscent of the PSFS building in Philadelphia.  An early and very controversial example of the International Style, such buildings would find a more natural embrace in new cities like Chicago and Detroit rather than the shock it caused in the older, more staid Philadelphia.

Radebaugh, much to our delight, has added skyways and rocket ships to a building that should have had such things in the first place!

A NOTE ON OUR PROCESS, OUR CHOICES AND THE QUALITY OF THE GRAPHIC CRAFTSMANSHIP THAT GOES INTO OUR PRINTS.

Every print we deem exciting enough to present to the public via our Etsy store or available here at our studio has gone through a number of steps. The first of those is always discovering and falling in love with an obscure image, always an original that we can hold in our hands. That image is speaking to us, sometime screaming “Don’t leave me here. See what I am, what I was, what I can be, what I SHOULD be!”

There is a real sense of excitement involved, and a great many smiles and knowing grins when we make that deal and bring that ancient print, that battered photo, that scrap of ephemera that contains some scrap of genius from an unknown commercial artist home with us, knowing already how we mean to approach its restoration.

There is the heady promise of a further hunt just as real as what drags a weekend fisherman out of bed at 3AM to work a favorite brook as we start our research, looking for that great backstory, and both ready and willing to tumble down as many rabbit holes as are revealed to us to get that story.

Then there is a meticulous digital restoration that is as often as much fun as riding a vintage Moto Guzzi on a winding coastal road. I don’t care if that sounds crazy, it really is like jumping in the saddle! So many choices, so many chances to take to subtly or spectacularly give new life to otherwise permanently obscure images.

This dedication and the ongoing rush of joy in the accomplishment of it, and the opportunity to share the results in our studio and here on Etsy, is the fire of passion that keeps these engines roaring. We make every effort to ensure our customers are not just satisfied but thrilled, and we happily stand 100% behind our work.

Very cute toy
I THOUGHT IT WOUKD BE BIGGER. it's about the size of 24 oz water bottle. Kinda small in my opinion. The dogs loved it but I've had it a week and it's already torn apart....my dogs are only about 3 months old so not very strong yet, so I would say it's like mid quality. I'll probably just sew the seam back together and call it good tbh.

My yorkie destroyed
It says it’s very durable so that’s why I bought it although the body and ropes are good the ears on the horse came off in the first day with my small dog so be careful with the ears and other looser things on the animals. The rope untied many times as well not a big deal I just knotted it back but she still loves this toy so it’s okay I’m my book just watch for ripping of ears and other parts on the head of this toy

Head and body ripped after less than 5 min of tug
Color: Scrunch Bunch Bunny, Color: Scrunch Bunch Bunny
The seam beteeen the head and body failed after less than five minutes of supervised tug with a 35 pound dog. This is NOT a tough toy. No reinforced stitching. Absolutely unsafe - a dog could easily rip open the neck and get at the squeakers, which are small enough to be swallowed and lodged in an intestine.

Good but not as tough as advertised
Color: Scrunch Bunch Duck
My dog absolutely loved this toy. He was obsessed immediately! It was his (and our) first crinkle toy. He loves the crinkle though it’s a bit distracting for me as it kind of sounds like he’s getting into something he shouldn’t. I love that there are two squeakers, one in the belly and one in one of the handles to squeak on during tug of war. Though he enjoys this toy, the head ripped off during a mild tug only about a few hrs after delivery. My dog is a medium sized 25 lb dog, he is not super strong or a super chewer by any means so I was surprised that it tore so easily. The fabric itself seems strong enough to withstand mild chewing but the seams aren’t as tough as they are advertised. If you don’t mind mending your dogs toys, it’s a very fun toy that’s easy to play with your dog as the handles work well for tug of war, just keep in mind that anything over a small sized dog will probably tear this toy apart during a play session.
