Minox eschews convention by utilizing a 44mm objective, instead of the much more common 42mm size. The larger lens provides performance increases across the board, including light-gathering capability to keep views bright in challenging conditions and a wider exit pupil. Proprietary M* anti-reflection multi-coatings on the ED glass lenses and dielectric coated roof prisms transmit bright and clear high-contrast images with true neutral color rendition and crisp clarity while correcting chromatic and spherical aberration.
