MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Great value for the money!!
They are not as stiff at the bottom of the handle where it’s connected to the actual spoon as others but I have been using them daily since i received my shipment some time back and none have broken. I am very satisfied with this purchase for a great price! Having so many (1000) spoons is one of life’s tiny pleasures of knowing I will not have to worry about ordering my plastic spoons for a very long time. Compare box of 100 for $3.89 or 1000 for $9 98! Easy choice for me.

Fine, but bag was open…
The spoons are fine and what I expected for a great price, but unfortunately, the plastic bag they were in was wide open in the box so I had to wash all of them… What a pain in the butt that was… Hopefully that’s a one time experience.
