We are pleased offer a limited edition Amazake Gift Set for the holiday season! It features the perfect-sized tea cup with a ginger grater and a bag of organic, brown rice Japan-crafted Amazake.

The tea cup (6 fl oz/180ml) and grater are Banko-yaki Pottery, which is a type of traditional Japanese Stoneware from Yokkaichi City in Mie prefecture, Japan. These beautiful pieces are from Kamoshika Douguten, which is the original brand of Yamaguchi Pottery Studio established in 1973. They are located 20 minutes away from my home in Kuwana City, Mie.

The tea cup is semi-porcelain Banko-yaki, which combines the warm and natural look of earthenware with the strength of porcelain. It has an attractive a soft matte finish and feels wonderful in the hand.

The ginger grater is Banko-yaki earthenware. It has a unique cutting surface, resulting in a soft, smooth meaty texture with a delicate flavor. It is easier to clean than a metal grater and can be used to grate turmeric and garlic, too.
